ADOPTABLE

adoptable.co.uk is a free-to-use website where pet rescue groups and individual pet owners can advertise pets which are in need of rehoming, and where people interested in adopting a homeless pet can contact advertisers directly, or look for rescue groups in their local area.

One of the most important features of the Adoptable is that animal welfare groups and also individual pet owners can register on the website and create adoption adverts for unwanted pets, with the whole process being managed silently and automatically. In addition, people visiting the website and wanting to give a home to one of the pets advertised are able to contact the advertiser immediately.

Adoptable also includes a directory of local pet rescue groups, with charitable organisations able to register and create their own listings. For these and other reasons, we chose to build Adoptable with WordPress. The website is hosted on our server and we also manage site maintenance, security and backups.
